Once people are at your site, make sure they Buy Something! Writing great copy is much harder than you might think, and most people think its going to be hard, so that is really saying something. The best way to write great content that sells, is to really put yourself into the shoes of your potential customers. Why would they want to buy your products? What are the benefits that they are going to get from your product? How would it make their life easier?
When it comes to writing content for your business you are normally faced with 2 categories of content. short and long. Long is obviously for your typical sales page and short for ads or small click through.
- Sales Copy that converts
There are 2 main sales copy systems that I use and they are both very similar. Both use 5 simple principles. Depending on the length of the copy I might write a paragraph on each principle or I might just pick what is most relevant. Notice that it is all about getting into your customers way of thinking.
